If you ask her mother, she would tell you that Rachel Siegel started singing before saying, "mama," and she hasn't shut up since. Growing up in rural, southern NJ, music was the way Rachel learned to relate to the world and that is one thing that hasn’t changed.

Building a life out of finding a simple way to say complicated things so they can be shared with the masses, she co-wrote Eric Nam's "Honestly," which reached #6 on the Billboard international charts. An artist who writes for other artists, Siegel started her career helping other people tell their stories. However, in 2020, when the world shut down, she decided it was time to tell her own.

Rachel’s debut album, Heart Injuries Are Cumulative, is set to come out September 2022. In her own words, “For a few dark years I was hiding, healing and, one song at a time, this album found me and helped me find myself again. Heart Injuries Are Cumulative Is a collection of songs I wrote right in the middle. This is me looking my grief in the face and healing the very best way I know how. It’s a hard, holy journey. It’s space to sob and smash plates and dance with all the rage and joy of a cracked-wide-open, healing heart.

Through this process, I’ve learned more grace than I could have ever imagined possible. I hope, as you listen, you can grab on to a little of that too.”

“Rachel Siegel knows just how scary it is to be vulnerable in music, but she also knows those feelings are worth it.”

— Hedy Phillips, Euphoria

“This is me healing the best way I know how. My songs helped me write my way through to a safe space. My music is me coming out of hiding—authentically and unapologetically.”

— Rachel Siegel
